Stella Lane, a woman that has no experience in the dating department, concludes she needs more practice, so she hires escort Micheal Phan

Stella Lane her favorite place in the world is her office. Her job is to come up with algorithms to predict customers, and this job has given her more money than she knows what to do with. She's a thirty-year-old woman that is absolutely not experienced in the dating department. It also doesn't help her that she has Asperger’s and that French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by a pilot fish.

So she concludes: she needs more practice, whit someone that is a professional in these kinds of things. That’s why she hires escort Micheal Phan. He has the looks of a K-drama star and the martial arts moves to match, Micheal the Vietnamese-Swedish stunner can’t afford to turn Stella’s offer down. So when she comes up with a lesson plan, he helps her check all the boxes- from foreplay to a more-than-missionary position.  Stella does not only learns to appreciate kissing but also all the other things Micheal makes her feel. But Micheal is real serious when it comes to the rule he has for himself. He’s not dating his clients! He tries to keep everything professional but when real love comes into play it becomes difficult for him to follow that one rule.

My thoughts

This book is one of the cutest books I’ve ever read. I love that one of the main characters has a form of autism because I think it makes the book so much more interesting. Also, the reason why Micheal couldn't turn her offer down made me sob. He was such a good guy. To his family, to Stella and I really loved him. I’m just so in love with the characters and can find myself in Stella and how she is as a person. The book doesn't have a specific trope, it's just about two people falling in love but they have problems in their lives and they try to push their feelings away. But when you really love someone that's not really an option.  I think it was such a beautiful and cute book, so I definitely recommend it!

“Michael was mint chocolate chip for her. She could try another flavor but he’d always be her favorite”
