Destroy me

I felt like this novella was interesting because I knew there was more to Warner than just a 19-year-old boy that is the leader of sector 45 and likes to torture people. I was so excited to read about the things he was thinking and if he really was that psychotic. I was so invested in his story and what made him who he was because the cruelest people mostly are the ones that are so much more than they appear to be. Just like Warner. When I read about his father, Supreme Commander Anderson, and how crucial this man is, it Is not surprising that Warner is who he is. He doesn’t know any other way and survives because he has to. He wasn't truly living until he discovered a beautiful girl with a lethal touch.

The only person Warner had at the base from sector 45 was, Delalieu. A solder he trusts, more than all the other soldiers. When he met Juliette, he felt like she might be the only person who would really understand him.

I loved this novella because I got a little inside of Warner’s head just like warner got to look into Juliette's head by reading her Novel. I understood him better when I read about him. He truly has the best intentions for Juliette, he really does.

Fracture Me

To be completely honest I didn’t really like Adam’s novella. First of all, I didn’t feel like there was a lot of new information or really something about Adam’s life. Just that he cared about James and Kenji and what happened to them after Omega Point blew up. It was just not an interesting story and in general, I do not find Adam an interesting character at all, though he is really sweet. I liked him. But when I read fracture me, my opinion changed a lot about him.

Another reason why I didn’t really like Fracture Me was because of how Adam thought about Juliette. When we saw in Juliette’s pov how much Adam cared for her and loved her, we saw in Adam’s novella he was/thought deferent. He had no belief in her or her powers and saw her as someone he needed to protect.

Adam had always needed to protect and care for James. He did everything for James and as he should he always put James first. But when Adam gave up so quickly on Juliette when she was taken by the soldiers, I can’t deny that I felt so disappointed in him. Kenji was even more worried about her than Adam, he was even more desperate to go after her and help her. Even though Adam and Juliette are not Lovers anymore I still feel like their friends, and I get that James comes first but after he was in safety he still didn’t feel like searching for Juliette.

I feel like Adam feels the need to protect her just like he feels with James. It just makes me mad that he has no trust in Juliette and her powers. She still needs to learn a lot but he can at least have fate in her, she will get her powers and herself under control.

I believe she will, I have fate.

Read or skip?

I would definitely recommend destroy me, because as I already said it’s really interesting to have a look into Warner’s head. When you read his novella, you get to know him more, and for someone that liked him from the beginning, you can understand that I liked that. We got to know a little more about Warner and the life he lives. If you are interested in Warner and what kind of person he really is, I would definitely recommend Destroy me! (I would recommend Destroy Me also if you don’t like Warner)

If you want to know what happened with Kenji, James and Adam after Unravel me or you want to take a look into Adam’s mind, I would recommend reading Fracture Me. I wouldn’t recommend it for any other reason. I didn’t really like the novella, because there wasn't really something new that was discovered about Adam. You just got a look into his mind and read about what happened with everyone after Unravel me.
